Auto Tranpsport Testimonial
Auto Transport Review 1
Picked my car up fast after the first company fell through.
No communication after that until I forced myself on them. Late response to
e-mail, didn't answer their phone... miserable waiting to find out where my
car was.
(Tues) Finally found out the car was in washington, was told the driver was
new, he got lost, will call tomorrow, should be able to deliver. (Wed)..didn't
call, I called.. was told car would be deliverd on thursday. Said driver would
call between 7 & 8 am. Called on thursday at 10:00 by "customer relations".
Was told my car was damaged (sunroof) in seattle and they would fix it. Couldn't
get the parts until tuesday, would deliver on wed. I was in shock... my "perfect"
lexus was now damaged... the guy at the transport company (Northwest Auto Relocation)
didn't seem to care much at all.. oh yeah, apologized for wrecking my car but
had the opinion of.."hey, it's just a car"!!! He said that the "Sunroof had
been scratched". I was concerned that my car was not going to be repaired by
a Lexus dealer.. he implied he couldn't afford that. I called Express to complain..
got no where... they didn't care either (no ownership)
Got a call tuesday by some other guy ( a third party)... he told me he was paid
to deleiver and he would deliver the car tomorrow. Said he would call..about
7 am..
No call until I again called ... said he was having logistics problems.. said
he couldn't deliver until later in the day... got info that his daughter was
going to DRIVE MY CAR and he would follow... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I called Express.. they called the guy and told him not to drive my car.. told
him to haul it (after all that is what I paid for).. they drove my car quite
a bit when they were suppose to be hauling it.
Got a call later in the day...was told that the car would be hauled later that
day... again, that didn't happen.
Finally...after 4 phone calls on friday, after being lied to numerous times,
my car finally showed up.
Two days later, I have my car at the garage getting inspected by my mechanic...
he states, "this car has been painted recently..." the roof!!! Upon further
inspection I find hunks of glass in the inside of my car, paint overspray on
the top molding, grinding dust in the sun roof recesses.. I start the heater
and get a face full of dust...
I called the guy at Northwest Auto Relocation, I called Express auto...get blown
off by both..
After all... It is "just a car"!!!!!!!!!!
These guys lied to me and didn't have to %$#@s to own up to it..
I'm sure there is more to the story but, enough for now. I am very dissastified
with Express Auto Transport... they take your money but there is no ownershp
if you have a problem...I told them I would write this opinion.. they didn'tt
care
I would avoid if I were you.
Auto Tranport Review 2
Like the previous reviewer, I chose Express Auto Transporter
because of the great epinion reviews they've had. I am not sure what went wrong
but the service I received is nothing close to the exceptional reviews described
here. Express Auto transporter was certainly not the cheapest auto transporter
but I thought it would be worth it since it's reliable. I've found the service
to be sloppy, unprofessional, and unreliable, The company does not follow up
on your order and does not call you to inform you when your car will be picked
up until last minute. The driver is unprofessional. After calling me 10 times
at 7:30am for directions, he still got lost and I had to drive my car to meet
him somewhere and take a cab back. So much for door to door service (at least
he paid for the cab fare). My car is estimated to be at the destination by now
but it's still "in transport" after 13 days for a cross country move. I had
to call Express Auto several times about my car's transport status and all they
said is that "they left a message for the driver." How unprofessional and unreliable!
Eventually, I found an invoice for my car given to me by the actual carrier
and had to contact them many times myself to figure out what is wrong with my
car. It turns out that Express Auto is just a transport broker and they use
various auto transporters to perform the service and have no way to track your
way timely for you.
It took them 19 days to transport my car from SF to Washington DC due to poor
planning. That is beyond their 10-14 days window. In my opinion, they do not
provide "express" service as they claim and Express Auto does not take responsibility
for tracking their transport. I certainly didn't have a piece of mind for the
last few days because no one can tell me what's going on with my car.
Bottom line: don't overpay for this unprofessional service! It's fine to pay
for quality, trustworthy service
which Express Auto is not.
